Dougal is an artist with over 4 years of experience in the field. From working as a Freelance Illustrator to transferring his skills into animation and filmmaking, and now as director of the award-winning stop-motion short film 'MRI', he has cultivated valuable experience that has prepared him for more creative work.

     MRI is an award-winning (1st Place Micro Short) stop-motion animated short written and directed by Dougal Vecqueray. The film was inspired by the director’s own experiences in hospital mixed with his love for stop-motion animation and 60s sci-fi horror cinema. The film was made over 9 months at the Aardman Academy as part of the In-Studio Stop Motion programme.
